Doggy Doggy Pets Grooming L.L.C Terms and Conditions Agreement
(Doggy Doggy Pets Grooming L.L.C will be referred to as ‘DDH’ hereafter).
Safety for everyone and every pet is our number one priority. For us to deliver the highest quality of service and care for your pet we have set out our terms and conditions below. This written agreement constitutes our entire and only Terms and Conditions Agreement until the time it may be updated.
For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be currently vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper & Parvovirus (DHPPi), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). All updated vaccination records must be provided prior to entry for all DDH services and must be administered at least 3 days prior to any service need. We require your pet to be on some form of flea and tick preventative (i.e. Frontline, Advantix, etc.) We may require the VacciCheck to be repeated every two years. It is imperative that pets arrive to DDH in good health and that each time the pet arrives, you as the pet owner is re-certifying that the pet is in good health and has not had any communicable illness of any kind for two weeks prior to such attendance. Any issues with your pet’s health or recent behavioural changes need to be informed to DDH. If your pet requires regular medication please make sure it’s clearly labeled with specific instructions on the Feeding Form provided, or over written or oral communication to DDH. It is your responsibility to give correct instructions and enough quantity during the pets stay, DDH and its employees will follow these instructions however will not be held liable for any errors made by you as the pet owner. DDH reserves the right to contact any veterinary clinic to follow through on any information provided by you. DDH reserves the right to make the final decision on groups / pricing on each pet based on overall height, size, and weight. DDH reserves the right to reject any pet that arrives, during assessment stage, that is within the initial 90 day probation period, or at any time during their attendance at DDH for any reason, without limitation, if it appears to us that the pet is sick, injured, in pain or that its behavior could jeopardize the health or safety of other pets, other people or DDH employees.
If your pet becomes ill or injured in what is deemed by DDH employees as non-emergency, we will inform you and give you options based on our chosen vet’s opinion, if the situation worsens and we are unable to reach you or your emergency contact, we will follow our chosen vet’s instructions for medication required, this expense will be your responsibility and DDH, its employees and chosen vet will not be held liable for any issues that may result from this. In any case we believe to be extremely serious, pet safety and wellbeing is our priority so we will take your pet to the emergency vet immediately then get in touch with you. The cost of this would be beared by you. It is your responsibility for initial vet visit costs and additional follow-up costs associated with any particular injury.
It will be your sole responsibility for any harm to another pet, person, or DDH employee caused by your pet while in attendance at DDH. You acknowledge that pets are encouraged to socialize and exercise at DDH and that injuries may reasonably be foreseen to occur while your pet is visiting DDH. You will not hold DDH liable for, any injury, illness, pregnancy, death, and/or escape of your pet which your dog may incur while in the presence of other dogs at the facility, during DDH transportation service or otherwise. You assume all expense and liability for injuries that your dog may inflict upon any human or other pet while in the care of DDH. You shall not hold DDH responsible monetarily or otherwise, for injuries to your pet that arise during the course. You shall hold DDH and its employees harmless from, make no claim against and indemnify DDH and its employees against any costs, damages, claims, or expenses (including vet fees, long-term care, or rehabilitation services) that may result from an injury or illness to your dog, or to another dog, if caused by your dog, or anything else that happens on DDH premises. You understand if presented with medical bills you are responsible for paying. If your pet destroys any property of DDH during the stay with us, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for charges incurred to replace such items. If injuries occur between dogs from a mutual fight with no obvious aggressor or deemed – no fault from rough play, and require medical attention, the sum of all medical bills will be split equally between pet owners. If your dog becomes ill or if the state of your dog’s health otherwise requires professional attention, DDH, in its sole discretion may engage the services of a veterinarian, administer medicine, and/or give requisite attention to your dog. You give your consent to DDH to act on my behalf in obtaining emergency or any other care for my dog at my own expense if deemed necessary by DDH. We recommend not bringing items with your pet that are valuable or irreplaceable. We offer a selection of bedding options, and have engaging toys during daycare for your pet to play with. DDH will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal items.
PAYMENT
You agree to pay for all our DDH services before we deliver them. The balance must be paid before your pet arrives for check-in at the rates set at the time of booking. If any scheduled payment isn’t made, we reserve the right to cancel the arrangements without any notice. You authorize DDH to maintain your credit card information on file and charge purchases and services either at the time a reservation is made, a package is purchased or of commencement for services rendered to your pet by DDH at the prices in effect at the time of services rendered. You also authorize DDH to use my credit card to charge me any late fees or additional fees resulting from your pet’s stay with DDH at the conclusion of rendered services, additional foods or necessary supplements, emergency medical care fees and costs related to injuries to other pets or people by your dog. Final charges will be an amount sufficient to pay for all services rendered. DDH may decline to provide services if a pre-charge or charge is declined for any reason. You will be responsible for any declination charge or late charge assessments or charges assessed by the paying institution against DDH for a dishonored transaction. DDH shall have, and is hereby granted, a lien on your dog for any and all unpaid charges resulting from any of the services provided by DDH. You agree to be responsible for any declined charges for services rendered by DDH. In the event your card cannot process payment due to a limitation placed on individual transactions, DDH may divide the total charge into portions in order to process the charge. If there are extra charges during your pets stay and you do not pay your balance in full at check out, DDH may retain custody of your pet, at your expense until the bill is paid in full, this will then lead to legal ramifications paid entirely by you. You shall remain liable to us for all unpaid charges also. Booking cancellations should be done at least 24 hours before the booking date. If you leave your dog in DDH care without payment or response for 4 days or more, you understand your dog shall be considered abandoned and you transfer ownership of your dog and all rights to DDH. Due to safety and staffing purposes, DDH reserves the right to charge a late fee for pick-ups after 15 minutes from closing hours or designated pick-up time. You understand that no refunds will be issued. DDH’s management may issue a credit to your account at their discretion. You agree to pay for all services rendered at DDH in advance of the day of my pet’s arrival. If payment is not received in advance, I understand that my pet will not leave the facility until payment is made. If we cannot reach you, you authorize us to contact your emergency contact. You agree that your emergency contact shall have your full and complete authority to make any and all decisions, including those related to the health of your pet and the expenditure of funds, for or on behalf of you and your pet.
You agree to allow DDH to use images / names / likenesses of your pet in any form, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, and you will release to DDH all rights that you may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.
DDH will provide filtered water for the entirety of the stay but we will not provide food for your pet during the stay, this will be provided by you. We will follow the instructions that are signed off by both parties at registration stage and if we see food is running low it will be up to you to replenish the stocks. If food is not replenished DDH reserves the right to add food charges to the bill that will be covered by you.
Opening hours are 7am – 7pm. For any assessments we recommend between the hours of 10am-3pm as to not affect the scheduled operations. For check-in you will be charged for 24 hours. Dogs must be kept on leash in reception area. Any dog that is injured due to not on leash is your responsibility. Any rude or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated; DDH reserves the right to end your visit to the facility if your behaviour becomes unacceptable.
We offer pick up and drop off service and this schedule is meticulously planned ahead of time. We would recommend contacting us 24 hours ahead of time if you require this service to avoid disappointment. We may make exception for private pick up or drop off outwith the scheduled bookings, however this will be subject to availability and an extra charge will apply. If you will not be at home when our team arrives, you may make special arrangements to give us access to your property to safely collect or deliver your pets. Schedules may be impacted by unforeseen circumstances.
